Waze took us a different way to Michigan. We were rerouted around traffic that wasn't even in our way. But we didn't know it until we were already on the other route. We made a little detour up to Catawba Island in Ohio. We decided to go to Mon Ami Winery for supper. It was a really cool and fun experience...they had a live band playing outside as well. We had a delightful lobster bisque topped with a heavenly puffed pastry, and a burger which was top notch. We also tried some of their Pinot Noir wine, which was very smooth. It's nice to have a little fun exploring new things on the way to where you're going. Sometimes getting from point A to point B is not the major goal. The journey can be sweet if you take the time to enjoy it.
