Crazy Hat Night at CBC

Ben and Isaac

my hat was made from a wicker basket, some pretty flowers, and a bunch of cool earrings and pins....

Yup, of course I had to make my own hat.  I think next year we need to make a rule that says all crazy hats have to be home made, even if it's made out of aluminum foil, duct tape, and toilet paper....that's what I think.

It was the 3rd  week in a row that our piano guy didn't show up, so I've been doing the songs by myself... just me and my Martin.  I've been enjoying it.  I'm trying to learn a new song (for me) each week instead of doing the same songs over and over again.   I think the kids liked the one I picked this week.

A few shots of the boys adventures in Dublin.  I'm glad they had such a great journey.

Well-Sweep Herb Farm

Mal was so nice to invite Darryl and I out to lunch and then tour this cool herb farm.  Really glad that Paula went too.  We all had such a fun time...even though it was mighty cold outside.
our tour guide/owner, Cyrus

Cyrus invited us into his home and showed us many of his family's treasures.

I couldn't believe how soft he was!

hat tip to Dublin

So, the doctors let me go home today.  They say there's nothing wrong with me.
I n t e r e s t i n g...

Darryl took me to Muldoon's Irish Pub in Ledgewood on the way home from the hospital.  I've never been there, and we had planned to go there for New Year's Eve....so this worked out great.  We sat at the bar and had a whale of a time.  ;)

It was a bit of a tribute to the boys in Dublin, Ireland.  I ordered Dublin Fish and Chips (best I ever had)...Darryl got a chicken pot pie - we had a terrific meal, and enjoyed the folks at the bar, and Wayne, the bartender.  I would definitely go back there again.
