a song For You outside by the fish pond
We set up a bunch of recording stuff and did one of my songs outside. We wanted the sound of the gurgling waterfall in the background. It wasn't quite successful, but we did get the song done back in the house. This is a song for my album. Can't wait to share it with you.

Front and Center - May 2017
I'm hoping to have some videos to post soon.
Some songs I played guitar... some I just sang. |
Wade joined us on several songs. |
It's cool that we are able to live-stream it to Facebook. |
Some of my artwork was on display, |
as well as some of my grandfather's. |
Darryl is our official sound guy! (He's also just started doing sound at church too!) |
That's us, as seen from the balcony. |
pretty things around my yard
John's been preaching on worship lately. Yesterday he talked about seeing the tiniest little flower on a weed. He said the beauty of it made him get on his knees and take a picture of it. The beauty of that little flower, in all its detail, made him want to worship God. Just to take notice of all of God's magnificent creation should cause us all to want to worship Him! So today I decided to walk around my yard and capture some the awesome flowers I get to see and enjoy there.
all sorts of stuff
We sanded and painted our deck. |
Kyle came over and helped. It was very hot! |
This is one of our goldfish. Today we were visited by a great Blue Heron and it looks as though it ate all but 1 of our fish. It was super sad! |
We think it might have eaten our frog too. |
Ryan and I have spent many nights sleeping out in the tent. This particular night was very cold. |
Darryl just popped in to visit. |

forgotten odds and ends
We have a couple of ducks visiting our yard these days. They seem to really enjoy the little fish pond. |
We went to see Bethel at Radiant Church. Didn't like it...very creepy behavior from the singers on stage. But we worshiped anyway.... |
Yeah, we got some hail recently. Pretty cool. |
Kyle's Masters graduation at GRTS
Kyle received his Master's Degree at Grand Rapids Theological Seminary (GRTS) at Cornerstone University - Summa Cum Laude. Really proud of him, once again, for doing a fantastic job finishing strong! Yay, Kyle!!
