s'mores and campfire

A very fun visit with Dana and Ethan. We enjoyed the pool, and cooking chicken on the grill, making a fire, roasting marshmallows for s'mores, singing by the fire, playing in the tent... and just being goofy.

This morning we had a lot of fun at VBS Sunday at church.

So happy that Dana and Ethan got to spend time with Ryan and Kyle before they leave to go back to college next week.

Kingdom Rock at Preakness Bible

Everyone had a busy and tiring week at Kingdom Rock VBS. It went so well, and I think many lives were reached with the gospel of salvation. Praying the little ones will understand and accept the free gift the Jesus died to give us.

I'm so proud of both of my boys.  They both taught a Bible lesson, and Ryan also was fabulous at playing Wally in the skits.  I will post a video of him later if I'm able.

Gen Y at the Vegh's

Ryan and I spent the past 2 weeks getting the house and yard ready for Gen Y.  There was weeding, and planting, and digging, and tree trimming, and tree planting, and step- building.  Tons of fun spent in the sun, sweating and aching, and getting blisters and scratches.  Here's a little recap.

Dana came over with Ethan and spent Saturday night with us and went to church with us on Sunday morning.  I feel so blessed that she was willing to come.  Feel stupid that I don't have pictures!

What a fun day we had with Dana and Ethan! It was such a joy to spend the day with them. Thanking God for His goodness. It took Ethan a while to warm up to us, as it usually does, because we don't see him very often, but once he got used to us, he was having a great time. Hope to see them again very soon!
