Almost Spring

Today was a good day. I got a lot done.

I got thinking about being outside swimming, hanging out on the deck in the sunshine. I look out there and what do I see? Mud, mud everywhere...... water flowing down our back "yard." There will be no more dirt for Darryl, so this is it. This is what we will make a nice lush green lawn out of. Take a good look.

Where are the swamp creatures lurking??

Next time I post a pic, it will be beautiful and inviting.... lol!!!

In Thee, O Lord

by Ryan Taylor Vegh

Verse1:

Sometimes we struggle,
Sometimes we fear,
Sometimes the answer
To our problems isn’t clear,
Sometimes our hearts are heavy,
Sometimes we’re feeling sad,
And everything
Just seems to go bad

But in these times of desperation,
We can depend upon the Lord
He is with us to the very end
So I declare…

Chorus:

In Thee, O Lord, do I put my trust
Deliver me from all the evil in this world
In Thee, O Lord, do I put my trust
I will hope continually
And praise you more and more

Verse2:

Sometimes we are lonely
And so afraid
Wondering if somehow
We’re not really saved
Sometimes we are nervous
Sometimes we’re confused
Thinking that in the end
We’ll hear bad news

But I will hope in Jesus Christ
He has paid for me and you
All we must do is put our trust in Him
And what He has done…

(Chorus, Instrumental, Chorus)

And praise you more and more and more…

Entertaining Marla :)

Marla came over for lunch today. She was serenaded by Ryan and entertained by Kyle. It was a fun time.

uh, sorry about the blinding reflector on my shirt. hehe...

Ryan sang 3 of his songs. This one I recorded is a portion of My God.

Ryan turned 16!

I can't believe my baby is 16! He's going to be driving soon!

Kyle got Ryan a game that he liked... funny how that works.

I made pizza for Ryan's birthday supper.

Of course I had to show off my new shirt celebrating the Giants, the SuperBowl Champions!! It's my first ever sports shirt, so I'm very excited about it. It's big enough to sleep in too.

Ryan got some cool presents, a Sonic game, a Bible, and a Ernie Haase CD. Nice loot, I'd say.
