Outdoor church worship

Ryan & I led worship at his church last Sunday. It was very nice to be singing with him again!  We'll be doing it again this week too!

 I think this week will be indoors because of the terrible weather we're having.  Tonight it's a tornado watch and a flood warning.  oh fun...

Our pool construction finally started this week. It just so happens that monsoon season is happening at the same time.  It is literally washing away all their meticulous sculpting.  We don't know when the rain will let up enough for them to come back and fix all the damage.  It's just sickening.

DeeDee invited me to breakfast with Hilary. It's so sweet and special that they want to spend time with me. I love them so. Both wonderful ladies that I call family.

 

Virtual Reality

Kyle brought over his virtual reality gaming thing. I forget what it's called. We had an absolute blast!! I was terrified and couldn't really do much. So creepy, but I want to try it again.

Mackinac Island anniversary

We had wanted to go to Mackinac Island for a long time, so we finally made the trip for our anniversary.  It looks like these pictures are on backwards...I don't know how to fix that.  Oh well.  Think in reverse.  

We stopped at this BBQ place on the way home.  We were both in the mood for BBQ and we couldn't find it on the Island.  This place was authentic.

 The weather was abnormally cold while we were there, so it made for a very chilly couple of days.  Not the best way to "enjoy" an anniversary trip...so we didn't have the greatest time.  The main reason I wanted to go was to see the Grand Hotel because I had always loved the movie, Somewhere in Time.  I feel satisfied now.  Thanks for taking me, Darryl
