Memorial Day weekend

mmm....doesn't that look inviting? It is that time of year again to get our little pool ready. Watch the transformation.

It was cold at first, but at least I can say I was the first one in.... lol!

It had to happen....

The day finally came. Ryan had to take the plunge and shave for the first time!

PHANTASTIC PHELPS PHANS

David Phelps came to Barre Auditorium in Vermont. It was out in the middle of nowhere.

We didn't see any MOOSE, but we wanted to.

Vermont was really beautiful country.

The auditorium was very small and casual. We waited patiently for David to come out. We had front row, center seats!!

The concert was amazing! We had a PHANTASTIC time!

He did songs from his No More Night cd. And other songs too. It was awesome!

At intermission I bought a T-shirt so he would be able to sign it. lol

It was so exciting to meet him (again).

I am a regular groupie. haha

I got to give him a hug.... :)

So, he signed my shirt.....

And he signed Kyle's expensive yo-yo.
And he talked to us a little bit after most of the people left. It was very exciting!
We all had a wonderful time in Vermont, and we were so happy that we went.

Vermont Trip

Tomtom got confused and took us the long way to Vermont. We took an unexpected Ferry ride.

We went to Ben & Jerry's, took a tour of the factory....and I got to ring the bell.

We got to sample some cheese and wine at Cabot Cheese.

I never saw a bear this big!

This is David Phelps' tour bus parked outside of the auditorium. We got there when they were unloading the equipment.

Visited the Cider mill and had fresh cider and warm cider donuts. They were delicious!

Enjoyed the hot jacuzzi at the end of the day.

Kids had a good time.
