new friend and family

Finally got to meet a new friend from facebook who contacted me a while back looking for her relatives. Cynthia is related on the Neville's side of the family, so it was great to see them reconnect! We had a great time with Cynthia and her family.

Christmas morning

We had a very quick Christmas morning and then got on the road to head out to Michigan again. I hope next year we can at least put our tree up. It doesn't feel much like Christmas morning without it!! Anyway...

Kyle got a top hat!! He looks so handsome! He's holding a camera for recording his tutorials.
Me and fuzzy socks. :)
Ryan got a bunch of music stuff!
DJ and new robe.
This is in the backseat on the way to Michigan...right before I got car sick.
Kyle takes a lot of pics! This is an accident on Route 80.
Ryan was co-pilot until I had to go sit in the front seat.
Hahaha! Here's one of the only places open on Christmas Day. Thank goodness they were because we had to get some Dramamine!!

Dinner with the Greatest Record of all time

We had a really nice dinner with Pastor Karl's family. I made chicken tetrazzini, stuffed shells, and a loaf of bread, and Robin made a beautiful salad. I think we all ate too much...especially the yummy dessert. We tried the chocolate fondue again, and this time it turned out the way it was supposed to! Three cheers for fabulous food and great company!

Ryan's new stuff

Here are some new projects Ryan is working on. He is certainly expanding his interests!! I'm excited to see where he is going...

Give thanks!

Dana, Rick and Karli came up for Thanksgiving dinner. We had a fantabulous meal. Ham with brown sugar glaze, super good gravy made with ginger ale, very yummy cheesey augratin potatos, homemade bread and cranberry, veggies, lots of desserts, including chocolate fondue... the fondue didn't turn out exactly right, but next time it will be better because I know what I did wrong. Oh well. We had a great time and I'm so thankful for my daughter and my family. I am so blessed!
Catching Packer game while dipping in chocolate!
Karli had a blast with Darryl.
Dana was a big help with the gravy and fondue!

my birthday was fun!

Had a blast on my birthday. Did lots of housework and got all worn out. Then we went out to dinner at the Long Horn. Got a free dessert that Ryan and I shared, but we couldn't finish it.

The boys overdosing on sugar!

Oh! What could be in the box?

Oh my goodness!! It's the adorable bear from Mazda!

awwww!!!!

I'm so overwhelmed with joy that I had to take my glasses off!

Isn't he cute?
