We lost Mom yesterday.  I was immediately overcome with memories.  How do you say "bye" to your Mother?  I don't know.

Memorial Service

God gave me the strength to sing with Ryan at the memorial service.  The whole service was uplifting and God-honoring.  Darryl would have loved it and cried.  I'm glad that it was live-streaming so that I can watch it again later.

Even now, as I post these pictures I'm still having trouble believing that he is really gone.  I don't know what my future looks like, but I keep trying to trust God with all that happens next.  Yesterday my mom passed away too, so I'm trying to deal with that grief too.  

Darryl's family, my kids and friends have been extremely supportive through the past month as we have had to say goodbye to Darryl.  I know that he saw the angels in his room that one day, and now I know he is worshipping with them in the sight and glory of God.  Amen.  I miss him so much.  He became the most thoughtful, caring, loving and Godly husband you could imagine.  My emptiness is overwhelming.

I never imagined that our trip to Hawaii would be our last adventure together.  I'm still trying to process these last 2 weeks.  Darryl was taken from us suddenly, but we rejoice knowing that he is in the presence of his Lord and Savior.  He is more alive now than he ever was here.  I will post more pictures and write more another day.

We are preparing a memorial service for him this weekend.  I will try to write more after that, as I am able.  We miss you, Darryl.  You are so loved.
