2nd surgery and other things...

This was from our indoor picnic service.  It was a joy to be a part of it.

After all these many years, Darryl let me buy a clothes line thingy.  It's the small things that keep me happy.

And Darryl got a "new" Kubota because he missed his other one SO much.  He's been enjoying it.

So, here I am recuperating from my second surgery.  I definitely had some meltdowns while leading up to it, but now, thankfully, it's in the past.  I'm so blessed that my church is sending over meals for a few weeks so that I don't have to be up and around too much.  The pain isn't as bad now after 6 days or so.  I still "worry" that everything went ok and that I'm healing OK.... I mean especially considering the fact that my Dr. told me I was 'good to go' after the last surgery.  I guess I won't really know until I go back to see him for my first check up.  I do look forward to the day when I feel confident to be active again without fear of ripping something apart.  It seems like a very long time since I've been myself.  Two years in Michigan and I've already had 2 trips to the ER and 2 surgeries...I want so much to be healthy again.

I just sang my new song for Ryan

I did write another song last week.  I can't wait to sing it at Front and Center, and hoping so much that I can get a good recording of it.

Porch demolition

These are some shots of Kyle and Hilary's porch demolition.  I was sitting on the sidelines...
The "rebuild" coming soon...
