Kyle, Hilary and I took a quick trip down to West Virginia to visit with Mom, Scott, and Flo.

Father's Day 2017

It was a very nice Father's Day. We had a great time of worship at church. Then we went to dinner at Giordano's pizza. It was the first time I'd ever had it...and surprisingly, I actually DID enjoy it!

Then we went to the beach at Holland State Park. After that, we finished the day with ice cream at Captain Sundae.  It was a full day of Father fun.

June open mic

yup, another month has come and gone. We did lots of songs, including my new one called Times Like This, which will also be on my album.   We had a great time!  Super fun night!

It was a joy to have Ryan O play with us.  Later in the evening, we enjoyed singing with some of the other folks as well.

Here is the picnic table transformation - beginning with the final paint job.  It turned out most excellent.

We really loved the table when we first moved here, but sadly it was deteriorating at such a fast pace we knew we needed to quickly salvage it. The only way to do it was to use a patch material that was white, which would look ridiculous against the natural wood pieces. So we decided to paint it and give it a whole new wonderful look.  We used 5 different color paints to do it.
