Christmas Party at Mroczkas

I was a little hesitant to go to this party because I thought it might make me cry, but I'm glad we went.  It was good to see everyone.  We hadn't seen them (except Michele) since Darryl's memorial service.  I'm glad it didn't feel too awkward being there.  Everyone was kind and gracious.  I actually played cards > not something I normally would do.  It kind of felt like I was taking Darryl's place at the table.

It's been years since I bowled!  Everyone had a good time!  It was fun until I hurt my finger...9 days later it still hurts...

Dana & Ethan's visit for Christmas

Dana and Ethan flew up to spend a week with us. It was nice getting to meet Ethan again. It's been so many years since we've seen him.

 We also went to see The Shift movie.  That was really good.  And we had a movie night at Kyle and Hilary's house but forgot to take pictures!!  

Christmas Day

The kids came over for Christmas and spent the night.  We got Chinese food and went to a park to take a walk and fly the drone.  It was fun, but also sad thinking about Darryl, and missing him.  It's going to be a really long time before any of us feels normal again.

 I'm so thankful that my kids love me.
