Kyle's birthday and beyond

We got some take-out for Kyle's 29th birthday celebration.  Good food, good drinks, and a very fun cake!

Ryan & Linnea are officially courting.

mama vegh & Kyle

So cool...They are reenacting the picture behind them.  I love it.

Well, there you are!!  Welcome to my garden.

It's taller than me.

We constructed a makeshift fence at the back of our property because our next door neighbors keep cutting through there.

I'm REALLY tired of being judged and shunned by people before they ever speak one word to me...

Have too many cherry tomatoes, so I found out I can freeze them.

Look at that cake!!

There's a party in there!

More of August

Ryan & I singing at an open mic night.  It was so hard getting up there to sing again after not being able to do it for so long.

Kyle & Hilary's porch floor done!  It looks fantastic!

I rearranged my studio so I could record again.  I hope some day God will give me the courage to put my voice out there again, especially after all the negative people I've had in my life.

Eric and Michele came out and spent a few days with us.  Went swimming, played cards, and learned a new game.

I started eating bee pollen.  Supposed to be filled with nutrients.

Hello there, sunshine...come on out.

Some cucumber vines

We took Scott and DeeDee out for lunch to the FireRock Grille.  It's nice when friends take turns buying.

My ideas on paper

This is where the food was being set up.

House warming gifts from Kyle & Hilary, Abby, Dwayne & Tiffany

It took LOTS of planning, and prepping, but it was a complete success.  Good food, great company, perfect weather, warm water, lots of conversation, and laughter.  I don't think it could have gone better.  We had 25 people all together, and I think that was a good number.  Everyone seemed to have a wonderful time.  It was a blessing to be able to do this finally...after covid, after spending last summer with putting the pool in.  And now right at the "almost end of summer" we were able to share the pool with friends and family we hadn't seen much of over the past couple of years.

Thank you, Kyle, for taking pictures!!  Ohhh but I just realized there are none here of you...ugh.  Next time I will do better about taking some as well.

Kids' Zoo Trip

Darryl and I weren't there, but these are some shots I saved from a shared folder.  Looks like everyone had a very fun time: Camel riding, zip lining...
