tornados, play house, and song

stuck at church, some folks stayed in the basement but we wanted to see it
this was the sky driving home

On Saturday while we were at church for a birthday party our area got hit with 4 tornados.  Several homes in Wyoming were affected.  We had no damage except for a tree down and no power for almost 24 hours.

Last night Ryan and I slept in our play house.  I use the word "slept" very loosely because I was awake the entire night.  I should sleep great tonight!  My body's unwillingness to sleep in strange places is really making me question my plan to ride in the P.A.L.M. next summer.

Ryan and I made some changes on my song and needed to make a new recording of it for the praise band, so here it is.  We'll be singing it 2 Sundays from now.

our Badger trip to Wisconsin and the U.P.

I think all the pictures are in reverse order.

I just love this panoramic shot of Lake Superior.  I was so taken with the beauty and vastness of the lake and of the clouds and just the magnificent views, that I was inspired to write a new song.  Can't wait to share it with you.

Last week Darryl and I took the S.S. Badger from Ludington, MI to Manitowoc, WI.
We traveled to Canyon Falls and then to Houghton, MI.
Made our way up to the Keweenaw Peninsula in the U.P.
We visited Darryl old college, and rode our bikes through a small town way out in the boonies.
Had my first ever pasty.  Darryl got to see his old stomping ground.
Drove past Lambeau field in Green Bay.
Kyle and Hilary surprised us when we got back to Ludington.  Spent a little time on the beach.
