A giant cat, mouse and cheese thing... made out of straw?
Ok, I had to give this big ole black bear a hug.
We all got lessons on how to shoot a cross bow. It was great. I think we all did pretty well. I know I got mine in the target thingy.
Here's Kyle...

Some big horses...
cute lemonade stand...
and of course, let's not forget the MONSTER TRUCKS! The whole reason we went to the fair to begin with. We did feel much better when we went to the show because a lady came up to us when we were in line and she gave us 3 tickets! So, that saved us $30.00. I really don't know how anyone can afford to go to the fair though, seriously. Because it costs to get in, then for tickets for rides, then for food and drinks (well, that is ok) and then again for any shows. It was not a cheap date, that's for sure. And I never did get a meal out of it.... just a few snacks.

You missed all the free things to do at the fair. There are free shows and exhibits all day long. If you have kids, there are free activities that will keep them busy for hours. Even the food was reasonable if you take the time to look around. Many of the food concessions run by the many non profit organizations are downright cheap. Next time you go ask around before you empty your wallet.
Well, we did as much as we could in the time we had, but really missed the rides. lol
Thanks for the tip though. I will remember that next time!
