Without a Cause

John 15:25 But this happened that the word might be fulfilled which is written in their law, ‘They hated Me without a cause.’

Romans 3:23-25 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

What reason could there be to hate this humble Son of Man?
What reason could there be to loathe this loving Son of God?
Brought to the slaughter like a spotless lamb
Condemned to amend a wrong He had not caused
Without a cause in Him we were His enemies

What reason could there be to help these hellish sons of Satan?
To give Your life so we could live again
To let men become like God by God becoming man
Without a cause in us You came to set us free
